Unlocking Your Worth: "I hate selling myself"

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HATE SALES

business strategy

As a visionary female founder, program creator, or coach, you're driven by passion and a desire to make a difference.

But if you're anything like the hundreds of female entrepreneurs I know, you may find yourself grappling with common challenges when you're in launch mode: insufficient income, a lack of leads, working tirelessly without seeing results, or feeling unrecognized for your efforts.

These struggles often stem from both mindset and business blocks that hinder your success.

Today, let's address some of these barriers and explore how shifting your perspective can transform your business journey.

"I hate selling myself"

Many entrepreneurs cringe at the thought of self-promotion. I hear: "I hate selling myself" all too often when I start a Success Roadmap Session!

The shift you need is this: it's crucial to recognize that you're not selling yourself—you're offering solutions to people's problems.

Your products and services  help others achieve their goals.

By focusing on the value you provide, you can approach marketing with confidence and authenticity.

"I hate social media"

Or: "I hate social media so I only want to put out content when I feel like it."  Another common one!

While I completely relate, this can severely limit your business growth. Content creation is the core of your online visibility in today's digital landscape. It needs a rhythm, and one that isn’t relying on your mood. You don't just do it when you feel like it.

"I feel like a failure when I don't have enough leads"

This mindset can be particularly damaging. Your worth as a person is not determined by your business's financial success.

You are inherently valuable, successful, and loved, regardless of your bank balance. Business has its ups and downs and you have to be prepared for this.

Remember, even highly successful entrepreneurs sometimes struggle with confidence and self-worth. Financial success alone doesn't guarantee true success.

Trying on A New Perspective

I love this quote because this perspective shift can be transformative.

Once you decide to be the person who is worthy and capable of success in your business, so much falls into place. Are you ready to transform your approach and unleash your business potential? The journey starts with a shift in perspective—and the time to begin is now.

TAKE ACTION

Reflection Question: If you can truly see your business as a separate entity that allows you to share your gifts and receive abundance, what would you do differently today?

Take a moment to contemplate this question. Your answer might reveal actionable steps to overcome your current challenges and propel your business forward.(By creating a healthy, nurturing relationship between your personal identity and your business, you start to feel very differently about the harder aspects of your business. This also allows you to make strategic decisions without being overly swayed by emotions.)
